ABOUT

Twenty-five years asking the same question at different scales: who is this really for?
I'm Tripura, a Service Design Leader and systems thinker. I work across UX, team design, and organizational design, the layers that shape each other.
At this scale of design, the hardest leadership work isn't introducing a new framework. It's earning the right to introduce one at all.
Core member of the Organization hub in the Systems Innovation Network, a global community of 30,000+ practitioners advancing systems thinking across the field.
"Form follows function."
- Frank Lloyd Wright
Frank Lloyd Wright's line has anchored me for as long as I have been designing anything. Form follows function. The chapters since then have been a different way of practicing that idea, at different scales.
My Journey
THE FIRST CHAPTER
Intrigued by people in different spaces.
Trained as an architect, then as an urban planner. Learned to see ecosystems before objects, and ask who the design was actually for.
THE SECOND CHAPTER
Curious how technology shapes the people using it.
A decade inside SAP and CRM systems across New Zealand and the US. Watched the human experience get lost in the technical implementation, more times than felt right.
THE THIRD CHAPTER
Left the career that worked for the one centered on people.
Stepped into UX and Service Design. Learned to translate enterprise complexity into experiences that actually served customers and employees.
THE CHAPTER I'M IN NOW
Building design teams for what's next.
Leading design where customers, teams, and the systems behind them connect. The instinct from the first chapter still underneath every decision.
When I'm not working
I travel. I collect stories. I sketch.
Based in Dallas, TX. Previously, in New Zealand.
The question I get asked the most:
" How did you go from SAP to UX? "
Happy to tell you over a coffee!
